Shishido 12BH7 Push-Pull Amplifier:
This minature push-pull amplifier is based on a design by Nobu Shishido presented in his Transmitting Tube Amplifier book.
The design of the amplifer is fairly straight forward, and this amplifier sounds way better than it should!
The final amp used output transformers from a Fisher 500c, and a power transformer from a console amplifier. A good use for old PP iron if you have any lying around!
I can't read a single word of the text in the book, but the schematic looked pretty cute. It uses a single 12AU7 and a pair of 12BH7's in PP parallel for each channel. If anyone would like to translate the chapter I'll gladly send along a copy!
