"Bugle 205D" Tube Amp
The 205D has always impressed me as one of the most beautiful tubes on earth. Turns out it sounds pretty nice too!
Just for fun I decided to try out the 205D in my convertable amplifier, based on Gordon Rankin's Bugle 45. I kept the 45 operating points (335v plate, 1.5K cathode resistor) and used 5vac on the filaments. Didn't want to stress the 205D's as they aren't easy to come by!
